A Contemplatation of Kindness (Kinds of Kindness, 2023)

I didn't really plan on this. 

Every day, as I posted each piece of art from Inspired By True Events to my Instagram story, I decided to type in the title of each piece to the Instagram Music search feature. 

I wanted to find songs with the same (or similar) titles to the art, as an exploration of parallel inspiration. With no knowledge of what I would find, I listened to thousands of songs until I found one that felt right. As I shared these songs each day, I also compiled them into Spotify Playlists in the order that matched the artwork.

But I love so many genres of music, to follow it in this way was exciting, but disjointed. I would describe it as rookie college radio, a new DJ who was too excited about sharing new music to bother grouping things thematically.

Pivoting from hardstyle to bluegrass can be hard on the ol' noggin.

So, for your entertainment;

Below are curated playlists of the music I shared alongside IBTE in 2022, sorted and grouped by genre and vibe (mostly vibe, genres are passé).

Some are more specific than others. You'll get it.

Some of these artists have under 100 plays and would really appreciate the listens! You'll literally not be able to tell which ones either, it's crazy how much amazing music goes unappreciated, and I think we can do our part.
